UNLOCKING CONFIDENCE & CREATIVITY
workshop
This workshop will nurture experiences from which confidence
and creativity can emerge. By fostering an attitude of playfulness and non-judgemental
self acceptance Raelene will promote the development of self trust and a belief that whatever
you do will be okay. She will faciltate games, vocal explorations, experiences and tricks of the trade
to overcome anxiety, guide you through the creative process,
and experience the joy of confident self-expression.
Yoga teacher and dance movement therapist Elizabeth MacKenzie will gently ease us into our explorations.
Elizabeth works with aliveness and connection through the body in order to experience
confidence and creativity.
There will be a long lunch break to enjoy the area and/or go out for lunch.
*MORNING TEA PROVIDED
*BYO LUNCH (or travel to nearby Newstead or Daylesford)
*BYO Yoga mat or towel and cushion if possible

Kick back and relax for a great
informal night's entertainment with one of the best blues guitarists
in the area. Canadian born, Castlemaine local MARVIN LORNE is a singer
songwriter and bluesman who has performed solo and with many greats
including local heroes Mick O'Connor & Broderick Smith
(both of whom feature on Marvin's own CD "This is Man's work.")
He plays slide guitar; and six and twelve string acoustic guitars
with breathtaking agility. He cites his influences as as Eric Clapton,
Ry Cooder, Leo Kottke and Jimmy Page. A natural performer who will
have you begging for more.
He will be supported by Raelene Bruinsma who's unique form of
"jazz and blues tinged folk" is passionate, entrancing and often amusing.

Book in for a 45 minute session with Raelene and focus on
area of your voice you would like to explore in more detail. Vocal technique,
performance skills, expand on something form the workshop,
self expression, or....?

BYO Lunch, or visit one of the many cafes or restaurants
in Daylesford, Hepburn or Castlemaine. The lunch break is 90 minutes to allow time for
a drive, a walk, or a visit to the nearby sculpture garden.
If coming from out of town, Yandoit is close enough to Melbourne,
Ballarat, Bendigo.... to come for the day. Or why not come for the week-end and enjoy
the area. A list of accomodation options and interesting activities/ places for rest
available on request..
